Munich, rain when getting in, hotel farther down the street than wanted for the downpour, but its a nice hotel. Being close to the “Original” hofbrau haus, had to take dinner in there. The noise level was quite high for just getting in off a long train and getting dripped on. The food was ok, the dessert was just bad. Well, may bad is not the word, not sure how you describe a half loaf of white bread with a pudding like sauce poured over it. After a few bites it goes from wow, to hmmm, to eh.
Did a bunch of walking round the main tourist areas, and the small food stands and the farmers market during the times between rain. Got me a hat to wear so i didn’t have to use an umbrella, but ended up leaving it on the next train because i wasnt used to having one to carry.
Would have loved to spend more time in munich, but had to get moving on. We were going to go to innsbruck for a night, but it was said to be snowing and didn’t pack for weather that cold, so replanned to spend the night a bit farther south in Bolzano/Bozen Italy.
Every night a differrent (oom pah pah) band comes in from somewhere around germany to play
some signage, i think 'music corner area' a bit nicer than sitting in a color coded area
described as a yeast raised dough with vanilla pudding, this was like a half loaf of white bread with the runny stuff put on it, it was kinda icky
tims apple studel think, wasnt very good either, but the dinner food was good. i had me some spaetzel
the band playing, people in the room singing along or chanting, not sure what it was all german to be
This is the towers of another church, i just can't figure out which one it was looking at the map. It's yellowish
a mechanical machine inside st peters, the light goes on, an angel comes out, goes back in… hey that cost money!
this is the 'meat' sandwich, it just unsliced bologna, or what bologna should taste like… yes and the fanta has real orange juice in it, not artificial or natural flavors cc
a statue of some woman, clothed, holding a book, that is open, in front of a sandwich place, in front of a church
this is the one of the strangest cabbages i've seen, i want to grow some of whatever kind it is
and the battle of the show where people cheer… when it's all done the american tourist groups clap, they are easy to spot that way, and everyone looks at them strange, who are they clapping for?
this is the right amount of color… not those 7-11 and gas station rollie things that are who knows what
at Isartorplatz, the second city wall gate from the year 1337, at least google tells me
dinner at another hof brau, wasnt as much fun, but its was better than oscar mayer
